Notes:
Commonly found in North America, the American Crow is all black, including the bill, legs and feet. They can have a purple cast in direct sunlight. They emit a loud, short "caah-caah-caah" sound and can even mimic noises made by other birds or animals. American Crows easily succumb to the West Nile virus, though they cannot transmit the disease to humans directly.
